The Man of Death

The man of death
The death of man
Why do they fear you so?
Who are you?
Why are you?
What has become of those once past?
You are one who walks alone
But is one who is never alone
You carry them all forever to the end
What has burdened you so?
Do you seek forgiveness?
Or do you hide in your shame?
Every day they become more burdensome
Yet you continue on
Who are you to judge yourself?
When they themselves judge you not
Where are you going?
Why do you hide?
The man of death
Runs from the death of man
